Two Laguna Beach Homes Make

Three Orange County properties were included in the Top Ten Real Estate Deals' list of the ten coolest beach homes on the market, two of them located in Laguna Beach and the top spot going to one in Newport Beach.
Topping the list was 1510 East Oceanfront in Newport Beach, a complex made up of a 5-bedroom home and a 2-bedroom guest house. Boasting a modern art collection and featured in several luxury magazines, the house currently sells for just under $20 million.
An $18-million property on 3 Camel Point Drive in Laguna Beach came in sixth. Dubbed by Top Ten as “classic California,” the home features an elegant, contemporary design with glass walls that offer changing views with each room. It also includes a wine room, theater room, and private staircase leads right to the beach on Montage Resort.
The list ends with a second Laguna Beach property, located on 2555 Altamar Drive. Priced at a cool $21.5 million, the home includes five bedrooms, six baths, and glass walls tapering into graceful arches. Top Ten calls the home “jaw-dropping,” and a “California dream home.”
Three other California properties made the list: a luxury estate in Carpinteria, a home in Malibu with a 128-foot private beach, and a modern villa in Santa Barbara. The homes are priced at $37.5 million, $17.5 million, and $26.5 million respectively.
Top Ten Real Estate is an independent website that lists the best deals on condos and luxury homes. The Coolest Beach Homes list took in coastal properties across the U.S. and input from real estate agents specializing in beach homes.
